Church. 1844, with chancel of 1902. Chancel by Goddard and Co., of Leicester.
Coursed squared granite (from hill on which it stands), wih granite rubble stone
chancel and Welsh slate roofs. Limestone buttresses and dressings including
sill and impost bands, bracketted eaves and stone coped gables. In lancet style.
W tower and spire, nave and chancel. Tower of three stages, with angle buttresses.
W doorway with shafts, lancets over, and 3 2-light bell openings with shafts.
Broach spire with stone-slated broaches. N W stair projection. Nave has four
lancets either side. Four bay hammer-beam type roof. Chancel has triple lancet
E window with early C20 stained glass in patterns. Later C20 extension to NE.
