Inn, now club. c1711, C19 front. Roughcast with a pantile
hipped roof. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 4-window range.
Stucco pilasters and parapet, C19 left-hand doorways have
rectangular overlights and panelled jambs, plain windows with
plate-glass sashes. Right-hand wing has 2 lower windows over
4-light timber shop front. INTERIOR not inspected, but
reported as having cornice complete in first-floor front room,
C18 staircase from the first floor, and some original doors on
the top floor. A former coaching inn, the Swan. Ownership
since 1711 is well documented. (BRO 39300)
