Gateway to Outwood House built c1860. Ashlar wall and piers with cast-iron and wood gates. Main entrance and foot-gates with gate piers and flanking wall. Rusticated ashlar walling each side of gates with splat balustraded cornice. Rusticated gate piers with bands of vermiculated stone work. Segmental arches over side gates with egg-and-dart moulding and carved heads as keystones. Carved green man in frieze above. Cast-iron lamp standards on inner piers. Gates have braced timber structure with cast-iron pierced quatrefoil panels.
