House, formerly divided into 2 cottages. Dated 1745 in the apex of the left
gable. Timber-framed and rendered, with unusual raised fielded roughcast
panels; thatch. 1½ storeys. An internal chimney-stack with a plain
rectangular red brick shaft. 2 gabled dormers with plain bargeboards and
small old 2-light casement windows. Below the eaves in front of the stack, a
fixed 2-light window. 4 windows to the ground floor: on the left a 5-light
former shop window, in the centre 2 similar 2-light casements, on the right a
3-light window, all with a single horizontal bar to lights. 2 similar doors
slightly recessed with 4 flush panels, on the right with an open gabled timber
rustic porch; both up steps.
