House and coach-house; now house and attached garage. Early C19, extended
and altered in late C19. Hammer-dressed sandstone front with chamfered
quoins and dressings of sandstone ashlar; coursed rubble with flush quoins
to rear. Slate roofs with brick stacks. Central-entry plan, with service
wing at side. 2-storey and attic, 3-window main front, with 2-storey,
2-window wing to right; garage further to right. Central door of 4 recessed
panels with overlight beneath bracketed cornice hood. Flanking later C19
canted bays; and small window inserted at ends. 4-pane sashes to first
floor and 2-light casements to attic. Raised surround to first-floor centre
window, and keyed wedge lintels to those on either side. Sill bands to
upper floors. End stacks. Wing has door of 4 recessed panels with
overlight. 4-pane sashes to right and to first floor. Keyed wedge lintels
to all openings. Sill band to first floor. End right stack. Double doors
to garage beneath chamfered segmental arch.
