Circa 1820-30 detached stucco house. 2 storeys with gable end slate roof
and projecting eaves. Symmetrical front to Church Street; 3 windows
on 1st floor, 2 on ground floor (the right hand blind) and central entrance.
Recessed sashes, glazing bars intact. The windows above entrance with
radial glazing to round head. Peaked roof trellis porch of "Chinoiserie"
pattern, boxed in behind. The north west gable end has a French window
on 1st floor with marginal glazing and a good wooden balcony with tent-
shaped canopy. The ground floor has a 2-light transomed casement window.
A single storey hall has been added in sympathetic style to the south
east, along Church Street.
The War Memorial Service Men's Club, and Harston, with Hope Cottage in
Coburg Street form a group.
