GV II

Gateway. Early-mid C18. Render with limestone dressings. Set
between Nos 30 & 31 (qv). A segmental-arched carriage gateway
with banded dressings, set in a wall with moulded coping and
ogee gable with an acorn vase on top; impost band, with side
sections, that to the left with a semicircular arch. Follows
the line of the old City wall.
