1354-0/9/288 Atherfield Farmhouse


GV II

Farmhouse. Probably C17 in origin but early C18 front
refenestrated in C19. Isle of Wight stone rubble with tiled
roof and brick chimneystack. 2 storeys and attics in gable
ends: 2 windows. L-shaped. Front has 5-light casements and C19
gabled weatherporch with fretted bargeboards. L-wing of lower
elevation. Interior not inspected. An original Domesday Manor.
