Boundary stone. Probably early C18. Sandstone. Monolith with wedge-shaped
top, approximately 1.4 metres high. West face inscribed "T D", for Thomas
Duncombe, former Lord of the Manor of Helmsley. Blakey Howe is also known
as Cockpit Hill and was the site of cock-fighting in the C18.
