Formerly known as: Nos.102-116 Arundel Terrace BARNSBURY ROAD
Barnsbury.
8 terraced houses. c.1820. Yellow and brown stock bricks with
stucco dressings and banded stucco ground-floor; roof obscured
by parapet, brick party-wall stacks. Side-hall entrance plan
with staircase. Three storeys with basement; 2 windows each.
Round-arched architraved ground-floor openings. Steps rise to
entrance in right bay: doorway with attached Greek Doric
fluted columns carrying corniced-head, plain fanlight and
original 6-panelled door. 6/6 sashes throughout (no. 106 with
C20 casements to upper floors; nos. 110, 112, & 114 2nd floors
& no. 112 ground floor with 2/2 sashes): ground-floor with
curved and radial glazing bars to nos. 102, 104, & 110. Stucco
sill bands to upper floors. 1st floor architraved full-length
sashes with bracketed cornice (nos. 102, 110 & 116 window
surrounds removed) and individual iron balconies (no. 112
right balcony missing). Gauged brick flat-arches to 2nd floor
sashes (nos. 104 & 110 rebuilt with gauged brick canted-
arches). Stucco cornice and blocking course with stone coping
(nos. 102, 104, & 116 cornice removed; no. 110 cornice
cut-back). Cast-iron area railings with urn finials. Formerly
called Arundel Terrace.
