Milestone. C19. Stone, c600 x 300 x 300 mm with rounded top, part sunk into
roadside, inscription 'To Chepstow ....' remainder concealed, but this
should be '4 miles'. Located c175 metres south of the Church of St Michael, Tidenham Chase (not listed) and on opposite side of road. This stone not
recorded on the 1:10,000 ordnance sheet.
