Mill building now industrial premises largely unoccupied. Early - mid C19. Coursed
squared stone, C20 sheet metal roof. 3 storeys, part with basement; 13 bays. Doors
have plain stone surrounds; windows are 6-pane, top part opening, with stone lintels
and projecting cills. From left: bays 1-3 each have ground and first floor windows
bays 4 and 5 each have a 4-panel door and are blind above; bays 6 and 7 have base-
ment, ground and first floor windows; bay 8 has doors to basement and ground floor,
otherwise blind, bays 9-11 have a later through-passage on left with a basement
window to its right, ground and first floor windows, and a 2nd floor window to bays
10 and 11; bay 12 has a blocked basement window, ground floor window, first floor
door blocked, and panelled double door to 2nd floor; bay 13 has a blocked basement
door and a window to each other floor. Right-hand corner is chamfered on ground
floor below a moulded corbel. Roof altered to single pitch. Rear: additions not
of special interest. Right return: 2 bays with door to right on ground floor,
otherwise windows. Part of mill complex. In state of disrepair at time of resurvey
