3/83 Monument to William Barnes in the
churchyard of the Church of St.
Mary, c2m north of north-east corner
of nave

Chest tomb to William Dipper Barnes, died 1814, and other members
of the Barnes family. Sandstone. Inscription on both sides.
Inscription on north flanked by palm leaf decoration, inscription
on south flanked by floral decoration with ribbon ties.
Inscriptions at both ends. Capping with moulded margin. Low cast
iron railing with cusped decoration and quatrefoil finials. Chest
tomb immediately north of William Barnes monument, now overgrown,
within same railing.
