- to Bradford Tracey House
GV II
Lodge, early C19. Colourwashed rubble, gabled roof with fretwork bargeboards,
central diagonally set brick stack which is rebuilt.
Plan and development: T-plan, all of a single build. The foot of the T with canted
corners and porch with principal door opening, this contains the principal room,
behind which are 2 rooms in the arms of the T, basement with a service room with
access at a lower level at the back.
Exterior: various window openings with canted corners to heads, simple 2-light
casements, one square-headed window with diamond-paned lights. Porch with a
pointed-arch outer door opening, half-glazed door, inner door opening with a 6-
panelled door, porch with a small quatrefoil on each side.
Interior not seen.
An interesting building in a romantic style.
