Farmhouse. Circa early C16 house with inserted floor and chimney stacks. Stone
rubble. Thatched roof with gabled ends, clad in corrugated iron at rear. Two
storeys. Long five window range. C19 and modern two and three light casements some
with glazing bars. Central recessed doorway to cross passage with panelled door and
flat hood on shaped brackets. Brick chimney stacks at gable ends. Ashlar ridge
stack off centre with capstone. Short outbuilding wing at right angles to right
hand (north-east) also stone rubble and with half hipped tile roof.
Interior: jointed cruck trusses. Timber framed chimney stack inserted. Stopped
chamfered ceiling beams. Early C17 panelling and ovolo moulded doorframe with
carved stops. Chamfered timber bressummer to open fireplace.
