Probably late C16 in origin. 4 storey timber-framed front, oversailing at each
floor. Two gables. Splayed C18 bay with slate roof to ground floor. A good deal
of bogus timberwork has been applied to the front, but the leaded casements appear
original. One wall of porch is covered with C17 painted Dutch tiles collected
from various old houses in Topsham. Slate roof.
All the listed buildings in Fore Street form a group.
