Barn and stables. C18 and C19. Volcanic trap random rubble under gabled-end dry
slate roof. L-shaped range. Range facing rear of Sprydon House with chamfered
angles and pyramid stops, the gabled end with blocked door, with 2 windows at ground
floor level, one of 3 lights; timber casement, late C19, and a small 2-light window
with chamfered timber mullion that looks much earlier; above, one 3-light window
with 8 leaded panes to each light, and glazing bars, C18. C19 roof. Tradition has
it that this was once an earlier house. The other range with 2 wagon entrances, one
with separately gabled timber hay-loft access above. Intact stables interior
fittings, early C19, 3 stalls, boarded below, with simple turned uprights above; and
a loosebox. The finish both internally and externally is of a high standard.
