Saw mill, now disused. Late C19 with minor later additions and
alterations. Red brick; slate and corrugated iron roofs. Single
storey. Main block has catslide outshut to rear on right and lower
range attached to right; chimney in angle between outshut and lower
range. Main range has boarded doors to left and centre; 4 roof-
lights. Chimney, square in section, tapering to top, with stepped
base, yellow brick lozenge patterns to sides and corbelled capping.
Interior. Full inspection not possible at time of resurvey (February
1987) but main range noted as having king-post roof, surviving machinery
and saw-pit. A narrow-gauge railway track curves away from mill to
north-east and then swings round to north-west before disappearing.
