3/15 Coach house approximately 30
metres north of Ratclyffe

Coach house. Circa 1830. Plastered walls are probably brick and stone rubble roof.
Coach house with haylofts over faces south towards Ratclyffe (q.v) over the service
courtyard. It has a 3-bay front with a large central round-headed arch flanked by
segmental-headed arches. The central arch contains plank double doors with a glass
fanlight over. This arch is flanked by shallow pilaster buttresses. The arches
each side are now blocked and contain C20 windows. There is another pilaster
buttress at the left end. The roof is hipped each end and contains 3 gabled dormer
windows containing probably original casements with glazing bars.
