Pair of cottages, mid C17. Brick nogged timber frame and brickwork
with slate roof. Single storey and attic. 2 bays, 14 frame panels.
Added brick lean-to additions to rear (south) and both gables.
Timbers in small framing with angle braces. Roof raised by the
addition of seven courses of brickwork above the original wallplate.
One boarded door and one C20 4-panel door with glazed elliptical top
panel. 2-light casement ground floor with added night vents. Small
3-light casements to attic. Timbers visible in gables and rear above
level of the lean-to roofs. Partly wall chimney.
Interior: Ovolo-moulded beams in the west cottage and bevelled beams
in the east cottage. Boarded doors.
