GV II

House. Mid C18. Coursed limestone with gritstone dressings. Stone slate roof
and stone coped gables with kneelers, parapet to east and banded ball finials.
Stone gable end and ridge stacks. L-plan . Two storeys. Gable end to street
with no fenestration. East elevation of six bays. Chamfered plinth and quoins.
Large projecting stone porch, square in plan with hipped roof and banded ball
finials. To the left are two glazing bar sashes in plain ashlar surrounds, and
to the right are three similar windows. Above the porch a Venetian window with
raised keystone. To the left are two glazing bar sashes in plain ashlar surrounds
and to the right are three similar windows. Moulded eaves band and coped parapet.
Interior reported to have an oak staircase with turned balusters and from an
earlier house a C17 fireplace.
