Hotel. 1840. By Audaer. Limestone ashlar with rock-faced stone to ground
floor of right wing, Welsh slate roof. 2 front ranges with cross wing to
rear. Left wing: 2 storeys, 5 first-floor windows. Plinth. 6-panel
double-leaf door flanked by narrow lights beneath elliptical fanlight in
rusticated door-frame flanked by sashes with glazing bars in keyed stone
architraves. First floor: sashes with glazing bars in keyed stone
architraves. Eaves band. Ridge stacks. Right wing: 3 storeys, 3 bays.
Plinth. Sashes with glazing bars with keystones but no lintels above.
First-floor band. Sashes with glazing bars in eared and keyed stone
surrounds to first floor. Second floor: band and 6-pane sashes in eared and
keyed stone surrounds. Coved eaves. Left end and ridge stacks.
