House. 1712 and earlier, with C19 alterations and mid - C20 restoration.
Coursed gritstone rubble, stone slate roof, with remains of crucks visible
inside. l½ storeys, 3 bays. Quoins. To right of centre, board door in
moulded surround with inscription on lintel: D .C20 windows to left and

far left, blocked doorway between. Sash with glazing bars in flush wood
architrave far right. First floor: large C20 dormer above entrance; 3 C20
windows under eaves in C17 chamfered stone surrounds. Large external stacks
to left and right gable ends, ridge stack above entrance. Interior: central
room - remains of cruck blades visible against left partition wall
apparently sawn off at first-floor level, large open fireplace; longitudinal
beam with chamfer and stops. First floor - purlins are re-used timbers.
