Small cottage, early C18, altered early C19. Incised rendered walls on roughly-
tooled mixed sandstone. Pantiled roof with stone pantiles and kneelers, brick
stack. 1 storey, attic and basement. Road front blank but for door in small
right extension. On left return a 6-panel basement door and a small sash to
right; small attic sash over blank first floor. Rear elevation shows 2 builds.
At right a 3-light window, with bottom centre opening section; 12-pane sash
above. Inserted rooflight. Taller left part has end coping on curved kneeler.
Linking section, with lower-pitched roof, holds modern casement.
