Passenger waiting room. c1870 for the Midland Railway. Rock-faced stone,
ashlar dressings, stone slate roof. 1 storey, 3 bays. Gabled central entrance has chamfered 'Tudor' lintel; chamfered bargeboards to gable. A
single-light window to left and right has a basket-arched lintel and retains
its original diamond pane iron glazing bars and margin lights. Broad eaves cornice and large modillions.
Left and right returns each have a 2-light flat faced mullioned window with basket arched lintel; diamond pane iron glazing bars and margin lights.
Wooden gable-end coping and barge-boards similar to those on entrance gable.
