13/129 Fordhill Cottage

Cottage. Probably C18 with C19/C20 additions and alterations. Rubble walls rendered
to 1st floor of front and at rear. Thatch roof gabled to right end, hipped to left,
small stone rubble stack at gable end.
Plan: originally probably 2-room plan with larger heated room to right. 2 storey
rear outshut is probably a C19 addition enlarged in C20 when internal room
arrangement was somewhat altered.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical front of C20 small-paned 2-light
casement on 1st floor to right and smaller leaded-pane C20 casement below. Open-
fronted thatch roof porch to left of centre with C20 plank and glazed door behind.
2 storey outshut along rear wall.
Interior: inaccessible at time of survey.
