Primary school and school house. 1866 extended 1926. Snecked stone rubble with
chromatic brick and stone dressings. Slate roof with patterning and crested ridge
tiles. Axial brick stack. 1866 school room to centre with school house at right end
and 1926 wing at right angles to main range added to left end. Centre range has 4
window range of gabled half dormers with pointed arched openings. 1866 datestone
to centre. Pointed arched doorway to left end with plank door of 2 leaves. Wing
has large tripartite window with pointed arched centre light, 1926 datestone over.
School house at right end has twin gables to front each with straight-headed
transomed windows with 2 light casements 3 panes per light on each floor in pointed
arched openings flanking recessed pointed arched doorway with 6 panelled door, the
middle panels glazed.
