2 cottages at the end, but standing forward, of a row comprising Nos. 1 and 2
Laureldale and Hares. C18 with C19 rear wings. Blocked plastered cob on stone
footings; gabled-end thatched roof, the rear wings of brick, with gabled-end slate
roofs. Single-depth plan with rear wings. End stacks with brick shafts. 2
storeys.
Front: irregular 2-window range; small first floor windows, one a 4-pane
horizontally sliding sash, with lintels at eaves level; ground floor with one
horned sash window, a single-light 4-pane window, 2 C20 front doors, and a former
shop window with bracketed cornice and little pilasters, C19, that returns along the
right-hand elevation. 2 C20 casement windows to the first floor of this end.
