House, C17. Shale rubble with cob above. Concrete tile roof with gable ends.
Originally 3-room cross passage plan, with lower end demolished. Lateral stack at
rear wall of hall and end stack heating inner room with projecting rounded oven. 2
storeys. 4 window range. 2- and 3-light casements with glazing bars. Through
passage doorway to right with slated hood. Small single storey outbuilding
projecting front left. Chamfered ceiling beam in hall with scroll stops. Plain
wooden fireplace lintelsto lateral stack and inner room stack. Staircase in rear
wall. Roof trusses removed except possibly one plastered in.
