Farmhouse. Early C17, remodelled 1688. Rendered; plain tiled roof; rendered
and brick ridge stacks. Cross passage plan with kitchen to south and hall and
unheated parlour to north; gabled vernacular farmhouse. West elevation.
2 storeys and attics in 3 steep gables. 3 bays, plus 2 in lower 2 storey wing
to right (south): C20 2-light casement windows. Off-centre projecting gabled
porch and C20 door. Wing projects to the east: hipped roof of concrete tiles;
two C20 windows. Date carved on lintel of rear (originally front) door.
Interior: stop-chamfered beams; chamfered mullion to parlour window; first
floor, stair windows have ovolo moulded frames, as do the doors to the hall and
kitchen chambers; the hall chamber door is heavily panelled; extended collar
