Farmhouse. Late C17. Plastered cob on rubble footings; stone rubble stacks topped
with C20 brick; thatch roof.
2-room with central staircase plan house facing south with store open to roof on
left (west) end under same roof. Projecting right (east) end stack with secondary
oven projection. 2 storeys.
Main house has symmetrical 3-window arrangement of late C19 casements with glazing
bars. Central door flanked by C20 buttresses battered back into wall. Store door
at left end.
Interior: has mostly plain carpentry detail where exposed, mostly original. Right
room has rubble fireplace but lintel is hidden and crossbeam is soffit-chamfered
with straight cut stops. Roof of A-frame trusses with pegged lap-jointed collars.
