-
- II
Farmhouse. Early - mid C19. Plastered stone rubble; stone rubble stacks topped
with C19 and C20 brick; slate roof.
Plan: L-plan house. The main block faces north-west onto the street. It appears
to hive a 3-room plan with central entrance hall containing the main stair, a larger
room to right with gable-end stack. Rear 1-room plan service block projecting at
right angles and overlapping a short distance the left end. It has a stack backing
onto the main block. 2 storeys.
Exterior: the 5-window front of original 16-pane sashes is not quite symmetrical
due to uneven spacing. Central doorway contains a part-glazed 6-panel door under a
deep flat hood shaped brackets.
Interior: not inspected although original joinery and other detail is suspected.
