Pair of cottages. Probably C18. Plastered cob on rubble footings; cob stacks
topped with C20 brick; thatched roof. Contemporary 2 storey cottages with mirror
2-room plans about cob party wall. Large projecting stacks on each gable end.
Symmetrical 4-window front. Each cottage with a 2-window front all C20 metal
casements deep set in reveals with central door under slated monopitch hood.
Plain chamfered cross-beams to larger heated rooms. Fireplaces blocked and
interiors superficially modernised.
