Small house. C17 with C20 alterations. Colourwashed stone rubble walls. Gable-
ended slate roof. 2 colour-washed stone rubble gable end stacks, right-hand one
projects slightly and has a later brick shaft.
2-room plan with larger room to left, each heated by gable end stack; probably a
cross passage at the centre. Originally there may have been newel stairs housed in
a slight projection in front of the left-hand stack.
2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2 window front of late C20 2-light casements with glazing
bars; originally had granite mullion windows (mentioned in original listing). 1st
floor windows are in 2 small gables and have 2 lights, ground floor windows have 3
lights. C20 plank door to right of centre under slate pentice. Slight projection
to the left at front of left end may originally have contained newel stairs.
Probably C19 outshut against right-hand gable end with external access.
Interior inaccessible at time of survey.
