NORTH TAWTON EXETER STREET, North Tawton

House. Early C19. Stucco walls with joint lining. Gable ended slate roof. 2
Axial brick stacks.
Plan: double depth plan, 2 rooms wide with central stairhall. Integral shop at
left-hand end.
Exterior: 3 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window front of original 12-pane sashes, set
flush with the external wall. Original doorcase at centre with moulded cornice and
panelled reveals. C20 part glazed door. Original low iron railings at front of
house, in 2 parts with gate to either side of door. To the left, integral with the
house is a shop with later C19 shop front.
