5/18 Barn adjoining immediately to
south of Corstone Farmhouse
GV II
Barn. Circa late C18. Cob walls with some stone rubble. Corrugated iron roof
hipped at right-hand end and gabled to left end where it ajoins the farmhouse (q.v).
Plan: Long rectangular plan, with 2 theshing floors.
Exterior: Single storey. Wide cart entrance to right and tall narrower doorway to
left of centre with small doorway at left end. Shallow buttresses along front wall
and at right-hand end. One original wooden framed slit survives below the eaves.
Interior: C20 tie-beam roof.
