Lodge at entrance to Bosvathick House (qv). Circa late C19, possibly circa 1895 when
Bosvathick House was extended. Granite ashlar with rusticated granite quoins,
Pyramidal hipped roof with fishscale slates and deep eaves; pierced red clay ridge
tiles on the short ridge. Ashlar stack at the apex of the roof with a cornice and a
weathered cap.
Plan: A double depth plan, probably of 4 rooms, 2 rooms wide and 2 rooms deep with
the entrance on the left side and a kitchen wing at the rear away from the drive.
Exterior: Single storey symmetrical 2 window front facing the drive with rusticated
round-headed windows with small keystones and C19 2-light casements with Y-bars at
their heads.
The left hand return facing the road has a gabled porch towards the left (rear) with
bargeboards and rusticated granite jambs, one side of the porch has a small round-
headed window; C19 6-panel door.
The rear wing has a red brick stack at the gable end and a glazed side door.
Interior was not inspected.
