2 cottages, possibly C17. Whitewashed rubble walls with upper walls of
plastered cob. Thatched roof with brick chimneys at gable ends. 2 storeys,
asymmetrical 4 window front. Ground floor on left canted bay window of 12 large
panes and 2 side panels of 3 panes. C20 partly glazed door with 2-light
horizontal sliding sash with glazing bars to the right. Three 2-light
horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars above. On right-hand side of
elevations, below slightly lower eaves, a C19 timber panelled door is positioned
on the left with a 12-pane horizontal sash with glazing bars to the right.
Between these 2 ground floor openings is a 2-light horizontal sliding sash
window with glazing bars above on first floor. To rear on south side stone
rubble extension under sloping thatched roof. 1 1/2 storeys, asymmetrical. Ground
floor with one 4-pane and one 2-pane window. On first floor, 2-light casement
window. Brick chimney in asymmetrical gable end. To rear on south elevation,
series of single storey flat roofed C20 extensions. On first floor, large C20
window of 2 lights, without glazing bars near angle, with extension. Interior
not inspected.
