Dovecote. Possibly C17/C18. Slate rubble with slate roof covering. Circular
structure with domed rubble vault. The central louvre has been replaced by glass.
Two storeys with inserted floor due to a previous conversion to a former upper
garden house approached by a flight of steps. Plank door with a glazed panel,
plain plank door below. Nesting holes remain in lower part only. Inspection and
dating difficult due to growth of ivy at time of survey. (September 1985).
