2/239 Barn to 20m west of Treven
GV II

Barn. Possibly with circa C16 or early C17.origins, probably raised in 1708
(datestone SD ) and remodelled in circa mid C19. Stone rubble with slate roof with
1708
gable ends. 3 doors, left with timber lintel and centre and right with brick
segmental arches. Above central opening datestone in carved stone panel with pointed
head. Heart above initials S.D. To right, rectangular opening. On west elevation,
to left, 3-light stone window with slightly chamfered segmental arch to each light.
Similar 2-light stone window to right. Blocked door opening in centre. Roof timber
replaced.
