4/31 Abrams Buildings (Nos. 1
and 2).

Terrace of 4 cottages, now 2, early C19; restored and porches added c.1980.
Dressed sandstone with plinth; coursed rubble repaired with brick to left
return. Renewed clay pantile roofs with stone ridge and gable copings.
Brick and timber porch to left-hand cottage, 2 storeys, 4 windows in all.
Paired doorways, those to original end cottages blocked; 4-panel doors and
overlights with glazing bars. Gabled porches in keeping. Renewed sashes
with glazing bars. End stacks with bands. Garret lights in returns, one in
left return blocked and both with moulded lintels. Skylights in rear pitch
of roof. Late C20 lean-to extension to left return is not of special
interest.
