Hasland Farm House

II

Farmhouse. Circa early C16. Plastered stone rubble. Thatched roof with half
hipped gable ends. One storey and attic. Long five-six window range. Small C20
casements with glazing bars. Doorway off centre with wooden chamfered door frame
with cambered head, C20 door and thatched porch. Two rebuilt ridge chimney stacks.
Two old lead pane windows at rear and C20 conservatory.
Interior: Cross passage with plank and muntin screen with cambered arch doorway.
Another timber-frame screen with similar doorway. Smoke bay north gable end with
massive timber lintel. Heavy chamfered ceiling beams. C17 panelling. Newel
stairs. Jointed cruck trusses.
