- 15 metres north-west of Newhouse
Baptist Church
GV II
Headstone. Dated 1778 in memory of Mary Richards. Hamstone. Upright slab standing
approximately 1.2 metres high with a shaped head carved with scrolls either side of
a winged cherubs head. Below a rectangular panel is surrounded by a frame carved
with floral motifs. The inscription is Roman serif upper and lower case lettering
and records the death of Mary Richards in 1778.
