Farmhouse. Circa mid C19. Volcanic trap stone rubble; hipped slate roof, 2 span to
the rear; brick end stacks.
Probably double-depth 4 room plan with a central stair hall and 2 principal rooms to
the front, service rooms to the rear. Small central projection on rear wall, later
single-storey brick lean-to at rear.
2 storeys symmetrical 3-bay front with deep eaves carried on paired brackets.
Central 6-panel front door with rectangular fanlight with diamond glazing bars, flat
porch canopy carried on brackets. First floor window above front door 8 pane sash,
other windows tripartite sashes, 8 panes to the central light, 4 panes to the outer
lights.
Interior: not inspected but co-eval internal features may survive.
A circa mid C19 farmhouse which is very complete externally.
