Estate cottage. Early/mid C19. Grey limestone rubble with brick dressings ; red
pantile roof, gabled at ends ; rear left lateral stack, right end stack.
Plan: Single depth 2 room plan with a single-storey porch block adjoining at the left
end.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 1:2 window front with regular fenestration. Plank
front door with rectangular fanlight with small panes ; 1 window to the left of the
door, 2 bays with window to the 2 storey main block to the right, all windows with
brick jambs, segmental brick arches and original iron casements with diamond glazing
bars.
Interior: Not inspected.
Forms an attractive group of Estate Cottages with Nos. 1 and 3 (q.v.).
