Farmhouse. Probably C17. Plastered cob on stone rubble footings; stone rubble
stacks topped with C19 and C20 brick; corrugated iron roof (formerly thatch).
3-room-and-through-passage plan house facing south-east with the inner room at the
left (south-western) end. The inner room has a projecting rear lateral stack, the
hall has a front corner stack at its upper end, and the service end room has a large
projecting front lateral stack. 2 storeys.
Regular but not symmetrical 4-window front of C20 casements without glazing bars.
C20 plank door to passage a little right of centre. Roof is gable-ended.
Interior not available for inspection at time of survey but layout suggests survival
of early features.
