2 adjoining cottages. Probably C18. Whitewashed and rendered, probably cob and
stone rubble, corrugated iron roof on no. 7 (right hand cottage), slate roof to no.
6; stack with brick shaft at junction between cottages.
Pair of symmetrical cottages, probably double depth and 4 room in plan, with central
entrances.
2 storeys. 2 + 2 window range with central front doors to each cottage.
Fenestration of 2 and 3 light casements with glazing bars.
Interiors not inspected.
The row of houses known as The College stands on a raised pavement above Fordland
Brook and nos. 5 and 6 are part of this picturesque group.
