Farmhouse. Late C15 or early C16, extended and altered during C17,
C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble with C20 tiled roof. Rectangular
plan aligned east/west with through-passage, west gable-end stack and
further axial stack to later eastern addition, lean-to to part of south
side. South front: part two storeys and part single storey with attic;
earlier house to left with C20 half-dormer to left and 2-light C20 window
to right below eaves, 2-light stone mullioned windows flank doorway with
chamfered jambs and 4-centred head. Interior retains stone doorway in
cross-wall between older part and later extension with chamfered jambs,
further internal timber-framed partitions with segmental headed doorways.
