Late C17-early C18 building. Steeply pitched red tiled gabled roof with
stack at either end. Cornice with modillions and egg and dart moulding.
2 storeys. 3 window bays. Stuccoed front. 2 windows on 1st floor and
1 blocked; sash windows with flush boxes and square heads; glazing bars
intact. 1 larger sash window on ground floor at Northern end. Central
doorway and 1 large modern canted 3 sided bay (containing 3 sash windows)
with parapet on ground floor at Southern end.
Immediately adjoining the Inn to the West, a 2 storeyed C18 block, formerly
used as stables. Much lower frontage. Hipped tiled roof. Stuccoed
front. 2 windows; sash windows with flush boxes; square heads. 2 beams
exposed in ground floor ceiling. ,
Immediately adjoining and again further West, an C18 block. 2 storeys.
3 windows. Red tiled roof. Read brick; projecting chimney at East end
of wall. 3 sash windows with flush boxes and square heads; no glazing
bars. Relieving arches over ground floor window and door.
