The Old Hall Smithy

G.V. II

Smithy, now pottery. Mid/Late C.18. Sandstone rubble, roof of pantiles. One
storey, 4 bays. Central Dutch door, under plain wood lintel, between square
casement windows with vertical glazing bars and hooks for external shutters.
Lower extension at right has corner timber posts supporting beam to pitched
roof; full-width windows with glazing bars inserted in C.20, plank and batten
door in south wall of extension. Low-pitched hipped roof has 2 end brick
chimneys.
